Lake Elsinore

Lake Elsinore is home to many great public community parks.  If you enjoy outdoor community life, there is more than enough for you here.

Lake Elsinore's newest and largest community park, Rosetta Canyon Community Park, is a great place to spend time outdoors.  Complete with 2 lighted tennis courts, 2 lighted basketball courts, a baseball/softball field, and plenty of open space to roam, Rosetta Canyon Park is a great place to visit.  In addition to the covered playground for toddlers through adolescent children, Rosetta Canyon Community Park boasts the only off-leash enclosed dog park in the city!  The one-and-a-quarter-acre park is divided into two separate parks, one for larger dogs, and the other for smaller dogs.  What a great place to call home!

Alberhill Park on Lake Street has all the basic amenities as well as several sports fields. Have a game of soccer or take younger kids to the playground.

Just as its name implies, Channel Walk, located down near Spring and Langstaff, provides a green space for you to take a leisurely walk or brisk jog while taking in the natural scenery of Lake Elsinore. You can often spot some Southern Californian wildlife as you walk this trail.

Main Street´s City park is truly a community park. You can find everything from playground equipment to horseshoe pits. You will even find concession stands with Mexican and American food.

Creekside Park on Lost Road and Bay Street is a great place to take in a game of tennis. There are also barbeque pits and picnic tables so you can reenergize after a tough game.

Take in the natural beauty of the Ortega Mountains from Lakepoint Park. Imagine this serene backdrop with your next softball or soccer game.

On Lincoln Avenue, Lincoln Park has all of your basic amenities from a tot lot to a basketball court.

Adjacent to Machado Elementary School is Machado Park. One of the largest parks in the city, you´ll often find city sponsored events going on here. Come enjoy a few hours playing in the Southern California sun.

At Grand Ave and McVicker Canyon Park Road, Mc Vicker Canyon Park has one of the only public skate parks in the area. You can also enjoy several other sports fields at this park.

Oak Tree Park on Lincoln has a trail, great for horses or casual walkers. There are picnic tables available and plenty of wide open spaces for a great game of tag. This is a more natural park where you can enjoy the natural beauty of Lake Elsinore.

On Palomar Road is Serenity Park. This wide open park offers great views of the surrounding mountainside. There are two half court basketball courts, a field for field sports and a tennis court. There´s also a playground for kids. It is truly a serene place to spend an afternoon.

At five acres, Summerhill Park on Canyon Estates Drive and Summerhill drive is dominated by a large sports field. If your child is a member of the youth soccer league you´ll be spending a lot of time in this beautiful park.

One of the larger parks in the city, Summerlake Park covers 16 acres of shady land off of Outrigger Street and Grand Ave. There are five soccer fields and two basketball courts adjacent to the Centex Homes neighborhoods. This is a great family park where you can enjoy a weekend barbeque under the shade of the trees.

Swick and Matich Park on Lakeshore and Poe Drives will become very familiar if you have a child in Little League. There are bleachers for cheering parents, 2 Little League fields and concession stands available. Take me out to the ballgame!

On La Strada and Summerhill Drive, Tuscany Hills park contains two baseball fields and a tot lot.

For a bit of peace and quiet, you might try Yarborough Park, a small but beautiful neighborhood park on Flint and Poe Street. With barbeque pits and picnic tables, you can enjoy a quiet afternoon away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
